While we can’t be together for this year’s Bootleggers’ Ball, we can setup our own at-home speakeasy. This is the year to dress up and play along from home! Let us create the festive atmosphere with the following program presenters!

DRAFT order of events for the evening:

7:00pm - Mixology lesson & speakeasy history with historian Renee Cebula

7:30pm - A look at the importance of juice in Prohibition Era Washington

7:45pm - Speakeasy storytelling with storyteller Elizabeth Lord

8:10pm - A look at Prohibition Era fashion in the WSHS collections with Executive Director Jennifer Kilmer

8:40pm - Design your own fashion paper doll

8:45pm - Distanced dance steps led by dance instructors Becca and Bailey

9:00pm - A night cap lesson with Renee Cebula

 

Join us throughout the evening will be historical societies from across the state to share their Prohibition Era collections!

 

Feel free to join in the festive fun by dressing up and submitting your pictures throughout the program! Categories will include most historically accurate and most festive, then get ready to use your skills in the fashion craft included in your digital kit for an added fashion contest bonus!
